Set against the backdrop of Taiwan, *The Outlaw Doctor* is a gripping psychological crime and medical drama that tackles critical social issues, including migrant labor and the unseen challenges of daily life. This collaborative project between Vietnam and Taiwan follows the journey of a Vietnamese doctor who relocates to Taiwan with the sole aim of earning money to save his ailing mother.
Established in 1965, the Golden Bell Awards were initially created to celebrate and elevate Taiwanese radio broadcasting. By 1970, the awards expanded to include television productions, further solidifying their influence in the media landscape. Today, the annual ceremonies for radio and television are held separately, typically in September or October.
At 35, Lien Binh Phat, a native of Kien Giang, first rose to prominence with his role as Dung in the 2018 film *Song Lang*. He later captivated audiences nationwide through his appearance on the reality TV show *Running Man Vietnam*.
