The 2026 Tet Flower Street, a vibrant celebration of the Lunar New Year, will grace Nguyen Hue pedestrian street in Ho Chi Minh City. Stretching from the Nguyen Hue–Le Loi intersection to the Nguyen Hue–Ton Duc Thang intersection, this floral spectacle will be open to the public from 7:00 PM on February 15, two days before the Lunar New Year, until 9:00 PM on February 22, the sixth day of the New Lunar Year. Construction is set to commence at 7:00 AM on January 28, with completion scheduled by noon on February 15.
Celebrating its 23rd year since its inception in 2004, the Nguyen Hue Flower Street 2026 will captivate visitors with its horse-themed mascots, honoring the Lunar Year of the Horse. The street will be adorned with thousands of flower baskets, showcasing a stunning array of varieties and colors, creating an unforgettable festive ambiance.
In addition to the breathtaking floral displays, the event will feature thematic miniatures and Tet cultural exhibition areas, with participation from diplomatic agencies, international organizations, and businesses. Approximately 50 booths will offer a diverse range of food, handicrafts, and tourism products, providing a unique shopping experience for visitors.
Downtown hotels, including Oscar, Palace, Kim Do, Caravelle, Sheraton, Grand, Rex, and Majestic, will enhance the celebration by organizing art programs and culinary events, ensuring a memorable experience for tourists.
To further immerse locals and tourists in the festive spirit, the city will install 6-10 LED screens along Nguyen Hue Street and surrounding areas, showcasing images of previous years’ flower streets and spreading the joy of Tet.
