Namaste Vietnam is an annual cultural celebration supported by the Embassy of India in Vietnam, in collaboration with Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the National Administration of Tourism, and the Ninh Binh Provincial People’s Committee.
The festival honors the enduring friendship between Vietnam and India, showcasing Indian cinema, culture, tourism, and cuisine while fostering stronger people-to-people connections and collaboration in the creative and cultural sectors.
This year’s event aims to enhance film and tourism partnerships between the two nations. A delegation of Indian travel agencies and wedding planners will explore Vietnam’s destinations, promoting the country as a top choice for leisure travel and destination weddings among Indian tourists.
Rahul Bali, Director of Innovations India and festival organizer, emphasizes that films and cultural festivals have become pivotal in driving tourism, shaping destination perceptions, and translating interest into actual travel demand.
The opening ceremony will take place at the Tam Chuc International Convention Center within the picturesque Tam Chuc complex in Ninh Binh. The festival will feature seminars on film and tourism cooperation, along with vibrant cultural exchange activities.
Vietnam Airlines remains the official airline partner of the festival. Since 2023, Vietnam Airlines and Innovations India have jointly developed cultural initiatives, including the co-production of *Tình yêu Việt Nam* (*Love Vietnam*), marking a significant milestone in cinematic and cultural collaboration between the two countries.
