The crown titled “The Wings of Beauty” to be awarded to the pageant’s winner is made of 18k gold attached by 1,522 white zirconia gemstones and 42 emeralds.
At a press conference held on September 26, Pham Kim Dung, head of the organising board, said Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 would be the first to have up to five crowns for the Top 5 finalists.
The winner will go on to represent Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2022 slated for October in Indonesia, whilst the other four runners-up will also fly to Indonesia to support local representative, Dung noted.
Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 was launched in June this year, with the Top 51 selected to compete in the final round.
The grand finale is set to take place on October 1 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The final night will see Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Miss Grand Vietnam 2021 and Miss Grand International 2021 titleholder, crown her successor.
Miss Grand International 2023 will get underway in Ho Chi Minh City in October next year.
