A total of three qualifying rounds are set to get underway in Da Nang on August 27, Ho Chi Minh City on September 17, and Hanoi on September 24.
A grand final is scheduled to take place in Hanoi on October 1, during which audience members will have the opportunity to hold exchanges alongside famous Vietnamese singers.
The winner will then receive a total cash prize of VND20 million, whilst the second-placed prize winner will earn VND10 million.
Furthermore, two third prizes will be awarded VND5 million each, and two talents prizes worth over VND3 million each.
Individuals and groups winning prizes will perform alongside K-Pop bands at a cultural event organised by the Korea Creative Content Agency Vietnam Office (KOCCA Vietnam) in 2022.
The contest is part of a range of activities aimed at commemorating 30 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the RoK this year.
