Angela Nisi is currently rehearsing diligently with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra for an upcoming concert that will showcase well-known symphonies from Italy, France, Germany, and Austria.
Nisi’s performance will include several opera excerpts by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini, such as “O mio babbino caro,” “Nessun dorma,” and “Sì, mi chiamano Mimì.”
Furthermore, she will collaborate with Vietnamese tenor Manh Hoach to perform the song “Merry Widow Waltz Duet” by Hungarian-Austrian composer Franz Lehár.
Angela Nisi’s professional involvement in classical music began in 2010. She has had the privilege of working with esteemed conductors such as Daniel Oren, Antonio Pappano, Donato Renzetti, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Renato Palumbo, Daniele Callegari, and José Cura. Her performances span across Europe, with notable concerts in Budapest, Hungary in 2021, and Oper Köln, Germany in 2023.
The Hanoi New Year concert, an annual event that brings together renowned artists, will be conducted by Honna Tetsuji. This year, the program will honor the 100th death anniversary of the great Italian composer Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924).
