In his inaugural address, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Ta Quang Dong, emphasized the significance of the festival as a triennial cultural and artistic event that fosters international collaboration. He highlighted the festival’s role in providing a platform for Vietnamese and foreign dancers to exchange creative insights and embrace diverse artistic expressions in a globalized era.

According to Deputy Minister Dong, the festival encourages innovative performances that showcase the unique cultural heritage of each participating nation. Outstanding performances will be recognized with gold and silver medals, celebrating the talent and creativity of the dancers.

The opening ceremony set the tone with captivating performances by the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet, followed by a dynamic dance troupe from Malaysia, offering a glimpse into the cultural richness of their respective countries.

The festival, a celebration of cultural exchange and artistic expression, will continue until August 22, leaving a lasting impression on all those involved and witnessing this extraordinary event.
