The opera house, constructed in a remarkable span of 22 months, is poised to host a plethora of cultural and artistic events, exhibitions, and conferences.

During the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Chinh extended his congratulations to the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi, and its residents on the grand opening of this magnificent and state-of-the-art opera house.
The prime minister was highly impressed by the building’s accessibility features for individuals with disabilities, as well as the seamless integration of traditional cultural elements with modern technology.
The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the opera house in fostering cultural development in both the capital city and the nation as a whole. Recognizing the cultural aspects as a guiding principle and a driving force for national progress, the opera house holds great significance.

During a national cultural conference in late 2021, Nguyen Phu Trong, the Party Chief of Vietnam, emphasized the significance of culture and emphasized the need for prioritized investment in cultural infrastructure.
The Prime Minister emphasized the significance of the Ho Guom Opera House as a testament to the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Public Security and the Hanoi administration. He noted that its establishment not only aims to enhance residents’ access to exceptional cultural amenities, but also aligns with the directive provided by the Party leader.
The Prime Minister has instructed the Ministry of Public Security to efficiently manage and oversee the operations of the opera house. Furthermore, the ministry is also advised to strengthen collaboration with domestic and international theaters to ensure that the opera house in Hanoi offers a diverse range of superior cultural programs and performances for both local residents and tourists.
The opening ceremony was enhanced with a variety of musical and artistic performances.
