As the clock strikes midnight on January 1, 2026, the night sky will erupt in a dazzling 15-minute fireworks spectacle, illuminating the heavens from 00:00 to 00:15.

Three strategic locations will launch high-altitude fireworks: the eastern entrance of the Saigon River Tunnel in An Khanh Ward, the heart of the new urban district in Binh Duong Ward, and Tam Thang Square in Vung Tau Ward. A fourth site, dedicated to low-altitude pyrotechnics, will be Dam Sen Cultural Park in Binh Thoi Ward.

Beyond the fireworks, the city will transform into a vibrant cultural hub. A grand countdown event on the evening of December 31 will take center stage at Nguyen Hue Walking Street, potentially expanding to Le Loi Street, Lam Son Park, and the Municipal Theatre’s frontage, creating a massive outdoor celebration.

The festivities will be further enhanced by captivating lighting displays and cultural performances across various locations, ensuring an unforgettable experience for both residents and visitors alike.

Funding for these spectacular fireworks and events will be sourced through socialized contributions, ensuring no direct burden on public finances, as confirmed by the municipal administration.
