Hosted by the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps, this year’s festival, themed “A Journey of Flavors,” aims to foster cultural connections while showcasing Vietnam’s breathtaking landscapes and warm hospitality to a global audience.

During a recent press briefing, Hoang Thu Nga, Deputy Head of the organizing committee, highlighted that each culinary creation reflects the unique culture, history, and identity of its nation. She emphasized that the festival will paint a vivid portrait of global gastronomic excellence, solidifying Vietnam’s reputation as a welcoming hub for diverse world cultures.

The event embodies the spirit of a vibrant and amicable Vietnam, eager to unite nations in the pursuit of peace, collaboration, and progress, she further remarked.

Beyond food displays and tastings, this year’s festival introduces innovative thematic areas, including the ASEAN Pavilion, World Culinary Boulevard, and Vietnam’s Three Regions Showcase. These zones offer attendees a unique opportunity to delve into the richness of both local and international culinary traditions.

Elena Bezdetko, spouse of the Russian Ambassador to Vietnam, revealed that the Russian pavilion will feature iconic dishes such as Olivier salad and grilled delicacies, alongside cultural treasures like Matryoshka dolls. She underscored the role of culinary diplomacy in fostering friendship and cooperation among nations.

A festival highlight is the Three Regions Specialty Zone, where Vietnam’s culinary prowess takes center stage through signature dishes such as phở, Mì Quảng, grilled spring rolls, and baguettes.

Complementing the gastronomic journey, visitors can immerse themselves in a variety of entertainment offerings, including a food-inspired fashion show, international beer festival, artistic performances, cultural exchanges, and community-centric activities. Together, these elements create a dynamic and captivating celebration of global cuisine and heritage.
