The event was organized as part of the activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two sides.

Mariana Flores Mayen, representative of the Government of Mexico City, highlighted that the exhibition with 30 captivating and vibrant photos allows Mexican people and international friends to gain deeper insights into Vietnam, its land, people, and its various achievements in socio-economic development.

She also mentioned that the event is expected to attract approximately 500,000 visitors from November 9 to December 5.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Jose Manuel Gonzales, director of the Mexican Capital Historical Center, expressed his admiration for the exhibited artworks, emphasizing that the exhibition has provided visitors with an opportunity to explore the inner beauty and character of the Vietnamese people.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico, Nguyen Hoanh Nam, expressed his hope that the exhibition will not only enhance the image of Vietnam and its people but also contribute to further strengthening mutual understanding and deepening the friendship and solidarity between the two countries.

In late October, the Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico also participated in the ASEAN Bazaar Culinary and Cultural Festival in Mexico City, aiming to promote the diverse landscapes, cultures, and people of ASEAN countries.
