The festival sponsored by the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang is widely considered to be the largest of its kind throughout the central region, with the occasion poised to draw the participation of hundreds of cosplayers.

The highlight of the festival will be Cosplay Vietnam Cup contest, with the winner winning a ticket to compete in the World Cosplay Summit 2023 which will be held in Nagoya, Japan.

Local visitors will be given the chance to join in a talk show held with voice actress Nguyen Thuy Thuy Tien who performed voice-overs in several cartoons as Doraemon, Naruto, and One Piece.

Furthermore, Kim Dong publishing house will use the occasion as a platform to introduce the latest publication Manga/Light Novel WingsBooks to visitors.

Moreover, a range of traditional Japanese food, including Udon, Tempura, Takoyaki, as well as souvenir items, will be showcased at the function.

Foreign artists will also perform the Japanese dance Bon Odori during the course of the three-day event.
