The Da Nang Department of Tourism is delighted to announce the unveiling of the highly-anticipated ‘Wow Da Nang’ festival on Tuesday.

During the festival, various tourism organizations, tour operators, hoteliers, and amusement park managers will introduce a range of exciting promotional programs to delight visitors.

The festival will host a diverse range of events over five days, including a grand music show capable of accommodating over 5,000 guests, captivating art performances, thrilling paragliding shows, and a spectacular showcase of the elegant ao dai – the traditional Vietnamese costume.

Experience a plethora of exciting entertainment activities and engaging competitions during your travels. Join in thrilling events like the exhilarating fish-carrying race, the exciting boat race on sand, and the highly anticipated tug-of-war game in water.

Explore the central coastal city and capture your unforgettable moments at our beach photo booths. Adorned with charming jellyfish-shaped lamps, coracles, and surfboards, our booths provide the perfect backdrop for preserving your precious memories.

The international Vietnamese cuisine fest will feature over 500 booths displaying a wide range of specialty dishes from different regions of Vietnam and other countries. This event aims to provide tourists with a diverse selection of flavors to enjoy.

The restaurant proudly offers a variety of delectable dishes, including mi Quang, a noodle specialty originating from the central province of Quang Nam. Guests can also indulge in traditional Vietnamese rice pancakes, cao lau noodles, and the beloved pho. For those with a sweet tooth, our menu also features delightful sweet soups. Furthermore, patrons can savor the vibrant flavors of Vietnamese street food.

The festival will showcase a variety of entertaining performances, including street music shows, traditional folk game displays such as “bai choi,” captivating street dances, and vibrant folk dances. Travelers attending the festival will be delighted by these diverse artistic expressions.

In order to attract visitors, several prominent tourist sites in the city, including Sun World Ba Na Hills, Than Tai Mountain, and Da Nang Mikazuki, are quickly introducing new tourism products and services while also offering a range of promotional packages.

Nguyen Thi Hoi An, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Sports in Da Nang, has announced that a reputable Japanese company is currently finalizing the necessary procedures to organize a splendid lighting festival in the city. The event is scheduled to take place from July 12th to 23rd.

A domestic enterprise has recently submitted an application to organize a light festival in the city during the summer season.

In the first half of 2023, Da Nang welcomed approximately 3.5 million tourist arrivals, representing nearly 90 percent of its annual target. Out of all the visitors, around 930,000 were international tourists, as reported by Yen.

During the January-June period, the revenue generated from travel amounted to over VND6.2 trillion (US$262.3 million), which is double the figure from the previous year.
