The event is part of the main event series of the Lam Dong Tourism Golden Week 2023 which is taking place on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Outline on Vietnamese Culture ahead of the 130th anniversary of the establishment and development of Da Lat. In addition, these activities also aims to help Da Lat join the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

The festival looks set to attract the participation of a number of renowned artists both from at home and abroad, and a symphony orchestra from Romania.

Upon addressing the debut ceremony of the event in Hanoi on March 18, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong noted that Hoa Sen Soundfest 2023 will help to increase the number of local and international tourists visiting Da Lat, as well as promoting the image of Vietnamese landscapes, tourism, and culture. The event aims to draw more than 50,000 visitors.

Furthermore, Dalat Best Dance Crew 2023 – Hoa Sen Home International Cup will also be held from April 29 to April 30 in Da Lat with a view to creating a platform for local dancers to exchange their experience, as well as showcasing their skills and culture with other foreign artists.
