Visitors will be able to experience hot-air balloon trips departing from Lam Vien Square. As many as 25 hot-air balloons are set to be located at the square.
Among them are five special hot-air balloons which feature a capacity of 12 passengers each, with these being present in Vietnam for the first time.
Passengers will therefore have the opportunity to have breakfast, drink coffee, have dinner, and enjoy panoramic aerial views of Da Lat whilst travelling in modern 12-seat hot air balloons.
The festival will take place as part of the 2023 Lam Dong tourism golden week which is expected to attract around 300,000 to 400,000 arrivals.
Legendary Lang Biang
In June 2015, at the 27th Session of the International Coordinating Council of UNESCO’s Man and Biosphere Program (ICC-MAB) held in Paris, the Lang Biang Natural Reserve in Vietnam’s Central Highlands Lam Dong Province has been recognised as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Lang Biang Reserve has retained its values of bio-diversity on a global scale, with the natural scenery mixed in harmony with local cultural features. It has contributed to forming and developing Da Lat to become a city of tourism and an international research centre on tropical forest.
