The Hanoi Opera House is one of Hanoi’s most iconic architectural landmarks. Built by the French colonial government in the early 20th century, this masterpiece was modeled after Paris’ Palais Garnier, the oldest of the two opera houses in the city. Construction commenced in 1901 and concluded in 1911. Today, the Hanoi Opera House is a must-visit attraction in Hanoi.

In 2017, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism introduced daytime tours to the Hanoi Opera House, revolutionizing the city’s tourist offerings.
