Dang Huong Giang, Director of the Hanoi Tourism Department, emphasized the significance of night tourism in her speech at the opening ceremony. She highlighted the department’s efforts in conducting a comprehensive survey to identify the potential for night economic growth across the city. Based on the survey results, they carefully curated night tourism packages, tailoring them to the distinct advantages and conditions of each locality.

According to Director Giang, the “Truc Bach Night 2024” tourism promotion program underscores Hanoi’s dedication to fostering the night-time economy through tourism. The city aims to unlock the capital’s full potential in a sustainable and holistic manner, offering visitors a unique and captivating experience.

She poetically described Hanoi at night as a city of sparkling lights and historic charm, where each street corner tells a story. Visitors have the opportunity to discover a different side of the capital—one that is both enchanting and profound.

The program transports participants back in time to the subsidy era, allowing them to relive the daily life of that historic period. For the first time in Hanoi, the venue will be transformed into a movie set, complete with a tram and department stores, evoking memories of the nation’s subsidy economy from 1976 to 1986.

Additionally, they designated religious sites, including Quan Thanh Temple, Voi Phuc Temple, and Pearl Island in Ngu Xa, Truc Bach Ward, as official tourist attractions, further enriching the city’s cultural offerings.

The “Truc Bach Night” program, spanning three days from November 29 to December 1, promises a plethora of exciting activities. Among them, the Metro Line 6 Experience Tour, dubbed the “Hanoi Street Museum,” stands out as a highlight, offering visitors a unique opportunity to interact with the local community and immerse themselves in the city’s vibrant culture.
