The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has reported that the region from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue is expected to have mainly sunny weather on August 9, with possible rain and thunderstorms in some areas.

The weather forecast in the Northwest region of Vietnam: Cloudy with showers and thunderstorms in some places. Hoa Binh will be sunny throughout the day. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected at night, with moderate to heavy rain in certain areas. Tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind are possible during thunderstorms. The lowest temperature will be between 24-27 degrees, with some areas dropping below 24 degrees. The highest temperature will be between 30-33 degrees, with certain areas exceeding 33 degrees.

North East region: Cloudy with sunny days. Showers and thunderstorms are expected at night, especially in mountainous areas, with moderate to heavy rain in certain areas. The wind will be at level 2-3 from the southeast. Tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind are possible during thunderstorms. The lowest temperature will be between 24-27 degrees, with some areas reaching above 27 degrees. The highest temperature will be between 32-35 degrees, with certain areas exceeding 35 degrees.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue region: Cloudy with sunny days, and showers and thunderstorms in the evening and night. Southwest wind at level 2-3. Tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind are possible during thunderstorms. The lowest temperature will be between 25-28 degrees. The highest temperature will be between 33-36 degrees, with mountainous areas exceeding 36 degrees.

Da Nang To Binh Thuan region: Cloudy with sunny days. Showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon and night, particularly in the South. Scattered showers and thunderstorms with moderate to heavy rain in certain areas. Southwest wind at level 2-3. Tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind are possible during thunderstorms.

The Central Highlands region: Cloudy with showers and scattered thunderstorms. Moderate to heavy rain in certain areas. Southwest wind at level 2-3. Tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind are possible during thunderstorms.

Southern region: Cloudy with showers and scattered thunderstorms. Southwest wind at level 2-3. Tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind are possible during thunderstorms. The lowest temperature will be between 23-26 degrees. The highest temperature will be between 29-32 degrees.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on August 9, the Ho Chi Minh City area will experience cloudy and sunny weather without rain at night, with drizzles in the afternoon.

The temperature will range between 33-34 degrees. Humidity will be around 67-74%, with cloud density ranging from 92-99%.
