Earlier, the Phu Tho People’s Committee unveiled a comprehensive cultural program to commemorate the Hung Kings in 2025.
This year’s death anniversary of the Hung Kings comprises two main parts: solemn worship rituals and vibrant celebrations.
The worship rituals include a ceremony honoring Great Father Lac Long Quan and Great Mother Au Co, taking place at the Hung Kings Temple National Historic Site on April 3. Furthermore, the Hung Kings Incense and Flower Offering Ceremony will be conducted at the “Uncle Ho Talks with Officials and Soldiers” relief within the historic site in Phong Chau Commune, Viet Tri City, on April 7.

Additionally, incense-offering ceremonies to pay respects to the Hung Kings will take place across various localities in Phu Tho Province from March 29 to April 2.
As part of the “Phu Tho Culture Tourism Week 2025,” the celebrations will encompass 22 cultural activities designed to showcase the province’s tourism potential. A highlight of these festivities is the artistic program titled “Sacred Origin – Hung King’s Ancestral Land,” scheduled for the evening of the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month, corresponding to April 7.
The Hung Kings Temple National Historic Site, located in Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province, is conveniently situated approximately 80 km from the heart of Hanoi, making it a must-visit destination.
