The Northeast region of the North has been affected by cold air, according to the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting.

Starting from the night of November 12, the weather in the North and North Central regions has turned cold, with a significant drop in temperature in the mountainous areas. During this cold wave, the temperature in the North and North Central regions typically ranges from 15-18 degrees Celsius, and in the high mountains, it can drop below 11 degrees Celsius.

Weather forecast for different regions

Northwest region: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in some places, with moderate to heavy rain locally. During thunderstorms, caution is advised for tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. The weather will be cold, with a lowest temperature of 17-20 degrees Celsius, and some places may even go below 16 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will range from 20-23 degrees Celsius, with some places going above 25 degrees Celsius.

Northeast region: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecasted, with moderate to heavy rain locally. During thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds are expected. The lowest temperature will be in the range of 16-19 degrees Celsius, and in the mountainous areas, it will be around 11-14 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will range from 18-21 degrees Celsius.

Thanh Hoa – Thue Thien Hue: Moderate to heavy rain, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. The weather is cold in the North, with a lowest temperature of 18-21 degrees Celsius, and in the south, it is around 21-23 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature in the north is 21-23 degrees Celsius, and in the south, it is 25-28 degrees Celsius.

The Central Highlands will experience showers and thunderstorms in some places, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. During thunderstorms, caution is advised for tornadoes, lightning, and strong winds. The lowest temperature will be 19-22 degrees Celsius, and the highest temperature will be 28-31 degrees Celsius.

Southern region: Showers and thunderstorms are expected in some places. During thunderstorms, caution is advised for tornadoes, lightning, and strong winds. The lowest temperature will be 24-27 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature will range from 30-33 degrees Celsius, and in some places, it may exceed 33 degrees Celsius.

Weather forecast for big cities

Hanoi: Showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected, with moderate rain locally at night. The wind will shift to the northeast at level 3. During thunderstorms, caution is advised for tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. The lowest temperature will be 17-19 degrees Celsius, and the highest temperature will be 19-21 degrees Celsius.

Ho Chi Minh City: The National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting predicts that on November 14, the weather in the Ho Chi Minh City area will be cloudy and sunny, with no rain at night. The temperature will fluctuate between 33 – 34 degrees Celsius, an increase of 1 – 2 degrees compared to the previous day.

Da Nang: The National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting predicts that on November 14, the weather in the Da Nang area will be cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms at night. The temperature will fluctuate between 26 – 27 degrees Celsius, down 3 degrees compared to the previous day.
