The National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting said, from Quang Binh to Phu Yen, the heat is intense with the highest temperature of 37-40 degrees Celsius, in some places it is over 41 degrees Celsius.

In the North, there is weak cold air moving to the South. From May 1, the hot weather in the North, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An will end and gradually cool down in the Quang Binh-Quang Tri area.

The influence of weak cold air combined with wind convergence above 1,500m level, so from the night of April 30 to May 1, the North, Thanh Hoa-Nghe An area had scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.

The Northwest region: The weather forecast is predicted to be cloudy and sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in the evening and night in some places. The lowest temperature is 23-26 degrees Celsius, some places are below 22 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is 29-32 degrees, some places are above 35 degrees Celsius.

The Northeast region: The weather is predicted to be windy, cloudy, and cool during the day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and night. The lowest temperature is 23-26 degrees Celsius, in some mountainous areas it is below 23 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is 28-31 degrees Celsius.

Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue: The weather is predicted to have moderate to heavy rain, with thunderstorms in the evening and night. The lowest temperature is 26-29 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature in the North is 30-33 degrees Celsius, and 37-40 degrees Celsius in the South.

Da Nang – Binh Thuan: The weather will be hot during the day, with moderate to heavy rain in the evening and night in some places. Southeast to south wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, watch out for tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds. Lowest temperature: 25-28 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature: 37-40 degrees Celsius.

The Southern region: The weather is forecasted to be hot with intense heat during the day, with thunderstorms in the evening and night in some places. The lowest temperature is 26-29 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is 35-38 degrees Celsius, in some places it is over 39 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi: The weather forecast is predicted to have moderate to heavy rain during the day, with thunderstorms in the evening and night. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. Lowest temperature: 24-26 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature: 29-31 degrees Celsius.

Ho Chi Minh City: The weather is forecasted to be cloudy and hot during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and night. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong winds. Lowest temperature: 26-29 degrees. The highest temperature ranges from 35 to 38 degrees, in some places it is over 39 degrees.
