Hoang Phuc Pagoda
Hoang Phuc Pagoda, located in Thuan Trach village, My Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, is one of the oldest temples in Central Vietnam, dating back to the Tran Dynasty (1314). This serene temple, also known as Tram Pagoda or Kinh Thien Pagoda, sits on an elevated ground spanning nearly 10,000 square meters on the right bank of the Kien Giang River.

The pagoda’s architecture reflects the traditional Vietnamese style, featuring three gates, a front hall, a middle hall, an upper palace, and an ancestral house. Despite undergoing several restorations, it still houses precious artifacts from the Tran Dynasty, including statues of Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva and Stratum Bodhisattva, as well as an impressive 80kg bronze bell from the reign of King Minh Mang.
The three entrances of the pagoda are designed in a three-level style, each with two roof floors. The intricate floral motifs adorn the two-story, eight-roofed front hall, while the middle hall boasts a similar architecture with four roofs. The upper hall, dedicated to Buddha worship, displays numerous statues of Buddha and Bodhisattva, while the ancestral house is reserved for honoring the monks.
Tam Co Cave
Tam Co Cave, situated in Tan Trach commune, Bo Trach district, holds historical significance. Located about 55km northwest of Dong Hoi City, this cave was a witness to the sacrifices made by volunteer youth during the anti-American struggle. Of particular note are the eight 20-year-old volunteers from Hoang Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province, whose patriotism and ultimate sacrifice have become symbolic.

Almost 50 years have passed since the tragic day when eight young volunteers lost their lives in Tam Co Cave, and the people of Vietnam continue to honor their memory and celebrate their victories.
Beyond its historical significance, Tam Co Cave is also revered as a spiritual site, shrouded in legends, attracting those seeking a deeper connection.
Non-Nui Thanh Dinh Pagoda
Chua Non, located in Quang Ninh district, approximately 25 km from Dong Hoi, is a spiritually rich site known for its multitude of Buddhas and the enchanting Fairy Well. According to local legend, those who offer incense at Chua Non with sincerity and drink from the sacred well will be blessed with abundant fortune and prosperity.

Temple of Holy Mother Lieu Hanh
The Temple of Holy Mother Lieu Hanh is a revered spiritual destination in Quang Binh, dedicated to Saint Mother Lieu Hanh, one of the four “Immortal” saints in Vietnamese folk beliefs. The temple holds a prominent position at the foot of Ngang Pass, in Vinh Son Village, Quang Dong Commune, Quang Trach District.
