Hanoi is set to celebrate its 70th anniversary with a grand exhibition showcasing the city’s remarkable transformation over the decades. Titled “Hanoi 1954 – 2024: Celebrating 70 Years of Economic, Cultural, and Social Flourishing,” the exhibition will offer a journey through the city’s proud history and its dynamic development.

Deputy Chairman Ha Minh Hai of the Municipal People’s Committee has approved this ambitious plan, which will be hosted at the iconic Hanoi Museum. The exhibition will occupy a vast 2,500-square-meter space, ensuring a comprehensive and immersive experience for visitors.

Hanoi’s story will be told through five captivating chapters, each highlighting its outstanding achievements in economics, culture, society, defense, and security. The exhibition design will guide visitors through a chronological journey, starting from Hanoi’s historical roots dating back to 1010, all the way to its vision for 2050.

This exhibition is more than just a display of Hanoi’s milestones; it reflects the city’s vibrant spirit and the determination of its people and government to forge a “civilized, friendly, and modern Hanoi.” Visitors will be treated to a diverse range of exhibits, including photographs, artifacts, documents, 3D mapping presentations, and more, ensuring a truly enriching experience.
