Hanoi’s Security Forces Showcase Capabilities Ahead of IPU-132

On March 24, Hanoi’s Department of Public Security, in collaboration with the Hanoi Capital Command, the Hanoi Department of Health, and other relevant forces, organized a parade to showcase the capabilities of the security forces responsible for the upcoming 132nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU-132) and other significant political events in the capital during 2015.

The event commenced with an impressive display of 16 vehicle groups, including ZAAM bulletproof vehicles, heavy armored vehicles, motorcade vehicles, and communication vehicles. The mobile policemen also showcased their skills with maneuvers and qigong performances.

The ceremony underscored the commitment of the security forces to ensure the safety of international guests, as well as high-ranking officials from the Party and State. They are tasked with maintaining traffic safety and order in the city, aiming to leave a positive impression of Vietnam’s people and country on international guests.
