The event, which is part of the Second Vietnam International Photography Festival, is open for visit until the end of October. There is also an online exhibition taking place at ape.gov.vn.
Ma The Anh, the Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography, and Exhibition, announced that during the first stage of the exhibition, which took place from April 19 to July 15, the Organizing Committee received 2,252 submissions from 147 photographers representing 15 countries and territories. The Committee has selected 200 works by 82 authors to be displayed at the exhibition. Out of these, 20 photos by 15 Vietnamese photographers and five foreign photographers have been awarded.
On October 20, the second “Vietnam through the Lens of International Photographers” photo exhibition was launched at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Binh Thuan province. |
The awarded and displayed photos are able to capture the essence of life, culture, nature, and the people of Vietnam, showcasing the country from unique and exploratory perspectives. These photographs contribute to the promotion, introduction, and development of Vietnamese tourism, particularly in Binh Thuan, to both domestic and international audiences.
