From the Vietnamese perspective, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Nguyen Van Hung, proposed several directions for the future development of Vietnam-Russia tourism. For instance, he suggested that the Vietnam National Tourism Administration continue to advise and report to the competent authorities regarding the re-establishment of existing flights, particularly direct flights from Russia to Vietnam.
Hung also emphasized the need for Vietnamese businesses to capitalize on the current flight route from Moscow to Ho Chi Minh City, optimizing transportation connections so that Russian tourists arriving in Ho Chi Minh City can seamlessly access popular tourist destinations, resorts, and beaches such as Nha Trang or Binh Thuan, which are well-loved by Russian travelers.
Prior to this program, businesses from both countries had the opportunity to connect, exchange insights, update information on activities, and explore collaborative opportunities.
