Ethnic cultural festival welcomes National Tourism Year 2022
Bac Tra My district of central Quang Nam province is hosting an ethnic cultural festival which opened on August 22 evening to welcome National Tourism Year 2022.
A gong performance recognized by UNESCO as a World Intangible Cultural Heritage is put on by Cor ethnic people at the event.
The festival also provides an opportunity for artists and artisans to meet and raise awareness about preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of ethnic minority communities.

Other activities at the function include an agricultural product fair, a gong beating contest, and sports games which are also taking place throughout the two-day event. In the photo, Mo Nong ethnic people showcase their traditional craft of knitting to visitors.
The daily lives of ethnic people can be seen through five communal houses at the festival.
