Eight Da Lat flower festivals re-enacted through photo exhibition
Over 100 images detailing the activities of Da Lat flower festivals held a total of eight times in history are currently being displayed at Lam Vien Square in Da Lat city in the Central Highland province of Lam Dong.
On February 24, State President Vo Van Thuong participated in the inauguration of the "spring festival in all regions of the country" held at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Hanoi.
In spite of the rainy weather, numerous markets in Hanoi were bustling with shoppers looking for items to offer during Tet Nguyen Tieu, which is the first full moon of the year. This activity began early in the morning on February 24th.
On February 23rd, the seal opening ceremony was held at Tran Temple in Nam Dinh province. This auspicious event, which took place on the 14th night of the first lunar month, drew in a massive crowd of pilgrims from far and wide. Thousands of people gathered to witness the ceremony and join in the festivities.
