The grand event is scheduled for three days, from February 16 to 18, and will take place at the Vinpearl Resort and Spa Ha Long, located on Reu Island in Ha Long City. The groom, Vivek Dinodiya, is an Indian billionaire and the director of PL Global Impex Pte Ltd. His bride is Anmol Garg. The extravagant wedding will be attended by hundreds of guests, including Indian government officials and representatives from the Indian Embassy in Vietnam. Prominent entrepreneurs from India and Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore, Thailand, and Cambodia will also be present. The wedding preparations, including guest reception, ceremonial rituals, and gastronomy, have been meticulously planned and confirmed by both the resort’s management board and the event organizers.

The groom and his family considered several potential wedding venues before selecting the resort as the most suitable option. This is the second time in a year that Ha Long has been chosen as the preferred wedding destination for Indian billionaires. Last year, a lavish wedding took place at the same resort, attended by over 400 guests from India’s elite circles.

This upcoming wedding provides a valuable opportunity for the local tourism sector to promote Ha Long Bay, a renowned natural wonder, to international visitors. In recent years, Indian billionaires have also chosen Da Nang City and Phu Quoc Island City in Vietnam as wedding venues. In 2019, a week-long wedding ceremony was held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Phu Quoc, and in the same year, a four-day wedding celebration took place at the Sheraton Grand Da Nang Resort. More recently, in January 2023, an extravagant five-day wedding event was held in Da Nang. These events have showcased the beauty and appeal of these destinations to a global audience.
