The Vietnamese representative fell short of securing a Top 20 spot in the Manhunt International 2024 male pageant, with Kevin Dasom of Thailand claiming the winner’s title.
Contestants from France, the Philippines, Venezuela, and Italy secured the remaining top five spots as first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
Huynh Vo Hoang Son, a 28-year-old native of Ho Chi Minh City, stands tall at 1.85 meters. He currently practices medicine at Military Hospital 175. Prior to this, he secured second place at Mister Universe Tourism 2023.
The Manhunt Contest has its roots in 1987 when Alex Liu, pageant director of Metromedia Singapore, pioneered the concept of a male model contest in Singapore. This local event eventually evolved into a global phenomenon in 1993, known as the Manhunt Contest.
Vietnam’s involvement in Manhunt International commenced in 2002, but it wasn’t until 2007 that Ngo Tien Doan made waves by winning the Best Body award. The following year, Nguyen Van Thinh further elevated Vietnam’s presence by securing second place in the online poll.
Model Ngoc Tinh stood out in 2017, claiming the Mister Manhunt International title along with additional accolades: Face of The Year, Mr Internet Popularity, and Best Fashion Model. Mai Tuan Anh continued this successful streak in 2018, securing fourth runner-up.
The 22nd edition of the contest, held in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 18 to May 27, 2024, showcased the talent and charisma of male contestants from various nations.
