Van Tien Cave: A Hidden Gem in Huong Son Commune

The beauty of Van Tien Cave is truly awe-inspiring and remains largely untouched.

Located in Huong Son Commune, Huong Hoa District, this hidden gem was discovered by a local resident. To reach the cave, visitors must embark on a mini-adventure, walking along a stream from Tria Village and then hiking up a mountain for about 20 minutes.

The entrance to the cave is narrow, allowing only one person to pass at a time. But once inside, a breathtaking sight awaits. Just 20 meters in, magnificent stalactites hang from the cave’s roof, a preview of the wonders within.

At the cave’s bottom, an underground river system flows, connecting two large lakes that are home to fish and shrimp. It’s a sight to behold, and according to local resident Ho Van Kham, even after multiple visits, the full extent of the river remains a mystery.

Unfortunately, the road to Tria Village was damaged by floods in October 2020, making access to the cave challenging. However, this also means that the cave remains a hidden treasure, waiting to be fully explored and appreciated.
