This comes following the Long An native winning the Best National Costume segment along with contestants from Thailand, the UK, and Peru. In the competition she performed whilst donning an outfit with the theme of “Truc Chi”, with her clothes drawing inspiration from a kind of traditional painting originating from Hue in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue. The Vietnamese beauty also won the “Country’s power of the year” sub-contest, earning a place to go straight into the Top 20 in the process. She was also named among the Top 10 of the ‘Best in Swimsuit’ sub-contest.
