UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club members take part in a waste cleanup drive and environmental protection initiative at Yen Stream, Huong Pagoda, in My Duc District.

As part of a comprehensive program, the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club has planned a series of events on March 13-14 to commemorate its 15th anniversary.

The agenda includes the club’s general assembly, where competent, reputable, and highly professional individuals and entities from the tourism industry will be elected to the Executive Board. The organizing committee has also scheduled business networking sessions, survey tours, route inspections, cultural exchanges, and recognition for supportive partners.

The Community Famtrip initiative will unite 150 official club members, guests, and travel businesses from Hanoi and beyond. They will engage in sightseeing and immersive experiences, such as exploring Va Temple, Mia Pagoda, century-old houses, unique alleyways, and local cuisine.

Additionally, the group will actively contribute to environmental protection efforts by installing signage advocating for a reduction in plastic waste. This aligns with their commitment to making a positive impact on the places they visit.

Furthermore, the Business Matching – TableTop Networking program will foster enterprise collaboration and cooperation agreements. Approximately 500 businesses seeking growth opportunities will participate, making it a valuable platform for networking, investment prospects, and product development collaborations within the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club’s shared framework.

During the Gala Dinner on March 14, the club will unveil promotional packages offered by its members in the travel and hospitality sector. These include airlines, transport providers, hotels, restaurants, and land tour operators. The promotions are designed to boost tourism and align with the 2025 Tourism Stimulus Program, “Vietnam – Travel to Love,” led by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
