On the third day of the Lunar New Year, also known as the Year of the Snake, over 8,000 tourists, including international visitors, embarked on island tours around the picturesque city of Nha Trang, as reported by Tran Van Phu, who heads the Nha Trang Tourist Pier management division.
The day before, nearly 4,500 people enjoyed the city’s island and beach tours, including approximately 2,500 foreigners from China and South Korea.
According to Phu, the pier is anticipated to greet over 40,000 visitors to Nha Trang Bay during the Tet holiday.

Phu further noted, “Tourists have been captivated by the enchanting tours to Hon Mun Island, the tranquil Tranh Beach, and the breathtaking Hon Chong Bay.”
Tran Minh Duc, the director of Long Phu Tourist Joint Stock Company, highlighted the popularity of Hoa Lan Island and Dao Khi (Monkey Island) as tourist destinations. These locations have attracted a diverse range of tourists, including domestic visitors and those from South Korea, China, and even Kazakhstan, over the past few days.
On the third day of Tet, approximately 2,500 travelers chose these two tourist spots as their preferred destinations.
Duc shared, “For the Tet celebrations, our company has gone the extra mile to enhance the guest experience. We’ve decorated flower paths and set up picturesque photo spots, as well as organized entertaining activities such as bird shows, archery, and goose racing.”
Cam Ranh International Airport was bustling with activity, serving nearly 1,200 flights, 800 of which were international, between January 25 and February 2. During this period, more than 180,000 air passengers passed through the airport, with a significant number of international visitors hailing from South Korea, China, and Russian-speaking countries.
The province’s hotels and resorts have been thriving during the Tet holiday, with many approaching full occupancy. Notably, hotels along Tran Phu Street in Nha Trang City and beachfront resorts have been fully booked in advance.

Le Thuy Trang, a tourist from Nam Dinh Province in northern Vietnam, shared her family’s tradition of traveling to beach cities like Nha Trang or Quy Nhon during the Tet holiday. “For us, a beach getaway is a must, and Nha Trang’s beaches are always a highlight,” she said.
