Spanning 250 meters across a vast 4,000-square-meter area, the impressive Tet Flower Street in Tuy Hoa city is a sight to behold. With a total of 70,000 flower baskets showcasing 100 different species, the street is transformed into a vibrant and colorful exhibit for the Tet holiday in 2025.

The display features six grand installations, numerous smaller exhibits, and two captivating entrance setups. One of the highlights is the giant golden cobra mascot, constructed with 60 metric tons of steel and eco-friendly materials like bamboo and rattan. This stunning structure, standing tall at the Dien Bien Phu Street entrance, guards precious gemstones, symbolizing the natural treasures of Phu Yen. It is an impressive sight, illuminated by 20,000 meters of LED lights and over 400 spotlights, creating a mesmerizing display that captivates visitors.

The cobra mascot is accompanied by replicas of the iconic Nghinh Phong Tower, further enhancing the visual appeal. Moving towards the Hung Vuong Street entrance, visitors are greeted by two elegantly intertwined snake mascots, forming the numbers 2005 and 2025, commemorating the city’s journey and Tuy Hoa’s 20th anniversary. The attention to detail and symbolism incorporated into the displays is remarkable.

At the heart of the flower street is a unique centerpiece—a snake mascot cradling an Internet globe, surrounded by AI-inspired installations. This modern twist adds a layer of innovation to the traditional flower street concept. The displays also include a snake cave with patterns inspired by snake scales and traditional Vietnamese brocade, creating a fusion of culture and creativity.

Nguyen Cong Thanh, vice-chairman of the Tuy Hoa People’s Committee, shared that the project, costing VND3.9 billion (approximately US$159,000), was made possible through joint efforts by the city and community contributions. The scale and grandeur of the displays, particularly the golden cobra mascot, which stands at a towering height of 10.8 meters and a length of 135 meters, showcase the dedication and creativity invested in this project.

“The flower street is a feast for the eyes,” exclaimed Do Kieu Oanh, a local resident. “The golden cobra, adorned with LED lights, is absolutely mesmerizing. It has become the perfect backdrop for our Tet celebrations and photos.”
