TNT Theatre is bringing Shakespeare’s beloved comedy, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” on a tour across Asia, with stops in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City. This play is one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies, and for good reason.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” follows the enchanting tale of four lovers who find themselves in a magical forest, where fairies play tricks on them with a love-inducing potion. What ensues is a hilarious exploration of the madness of love, filled with slapstick comedy, touching love scenes, and Shakespeare’s exquisite poetry. The play also pokes fun at human folly, creating a delightful and entertaining experience for audiences.

TNT’s production has been carefully crafted to ensure that Shakespeare’s language is accessible to all, even those for whom English is a second language. This approach has proven extraordinarily successful, with the show being performed hundreds of times globally. Directed by Paul Stebbings, the play features a talented cast, including Samantha Jean Hazel, Samuel Michael Beresford, Darryl Ryan Marc, Aimee Leigh, and Martha Caidan.

TNT Theatre has an impressive performance history, having graced stages at renowned venues such as the Royal National Theatre London, the National Theatre of Scotland, and the National Centre for Performing Arts in Beijing. They first brought their talents to Vietnam in 2009 and returned last year with performances of “Romeo & Juliet” in Da Nang, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Don’t miss your chance to catch this exceptional production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” TNT Theatre will be performing at the Hanoi Opera House on May 21, with shows at 11 am and 8 pm, and at the Ho Chi Minh City Municipal Theatre on May 23. For our audience in Da Nang, the show will take place on May 24 at 8 pm at the Nguyen Hien Dinh Theatre.
