The Best Mobile Banking app award acknowledged the Techcombank Mobile app’s quality and reliability, the diverse range of banking services it offers, and the seamless customer journeys it facilitates.

Techcombank’s digital banking platform has successfully scaled to serve over 15.4 million customers as of 2024. In the last two years, Techcombank acquired 3.6 million new customers, with more than 55% of these acquisitions occurring through digital channels.
Techcombank boasts one of the most digitally engaged customer bases globally, with all 10 million retail customers utilizing the Techcombank Mobile app, 91% of retail customer transactions conducted online, and an average of around 56 logins to its digital banking platform per active user per month.
Techcombank’s digital banking platform and mobile app have enabled the introduction of novel digital-led offerings, such as Auto-earning 2.0, which is now available on the Techcombank Mobile app. With a simple click, individuals and SMEs can activate this feature to earn higher interest on idle cash in their primary account. By the end of 2024, Auto-earning had already attracted over 2.6 million users, contributing to the Bank’s record-high CASA balance.
The Asset also commended Techcombank for its exceptional hyper-personalized experiences, powered by the Bank’s ‘data brain’ and AI capabilities, which have been delivered to millions of individual customers through its digital platform.
In 2024, Techcombank utilized its AI-powered marketing technology stack to send over 680 million personalized messages to individual customers, including financial advice and product recommendations tailored to their needs. This ensured that each customer received relevant and timely information.
The Asset Digital awards also recognized Techcombank Rewards, the bank’s groundbreaking loyalty ecosystem, which has rapidly become the largest loyalty program in Vietnamese banking. With Techcombank Rewards, customers can effortlessly collect and redeem loyalty points while transacting using the Techcombank Mobile app at more than 420 leading partner brands and 16,000 acceptance points nationwide. As of 2024, Techcombank Rewards had over 10 million active users and facilitated over 720 million reward transactions.
Techcombank has seamlessly integrated a diverse range of financial services, including savings, investments, and individual financial management, into a multi-sector ecosystem within a unique banking app. Notably, the integration of Techcom Securities into the Techcombank Mobile app has resulted in 60% of new securities accounts being opened entirely online, enhancing customer accessibility and convenience.
In 2024, Techcombank migrated its front-end digital banking platform for retail and corporate customers to the cloud, further enhancing its scalability and stability. This move positions the digital banking platform to handle higher transaction volumes and support the bank’s accelerated growth trajectory.

HCMC – Sacombank donated VND10 billion to the Government’s Covid-19 vaccine fund, which was established on June 5, and gave another VND10 billion to several agencies and organizations in many provinces and cities, including the Fatherland Front Committees, the health departments and the Red Cross, to fight Covid-19.
