This year’s event, marking the 10th anniversary at Dong A University and the 52nd year of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations, attracted over 500 high school students and a talented art troupe from Tokyo.

The Japanese performers captivated the audience with 14 diverse acts, ranging from live reenactments of the beloved anime Naruto to exquisite kimono displays, Ikebana floral arrangements, and the graceful art of Japanese ink painting. They also showcased their mastery in calligraphy with large-scale demonstrations.

Adding to the cultural fusion were folk games from both countries, such as Yabusame, Kingyo Sukui, and the Vietnamese stone game, O an quan. Participants had the unique opportunity to try on kimonos, explore themed photography zones, indulge in the Nagashi Somen bamboo noodle festival, and join the vibrant cosplay festivities, fully immersing themselves in Japanese culture.
