Spanning 250 meters across a vast 4,000-square-meter area, the breathtaking Tet Flower Street in Tuy Hoa city is a sight to behold. With an impressive collection of 70,000 flower baskets showcasing 100 different species, the street is transformed into a vibrant and colorful exhibit for the Tet holiday celebrations.
The exhibit boasts six grand displays, numerous smaller setups, and two captivating entrance installations that are sure to leave visitors in awe. The use of 60 metric tons of steel and eco-friendly materials like bamboo and rattan in the construction adds to the uniqueness of the street.
According to the city’s administration, the street is illuminated with a dazzling display of 20,000 meters of LED lights and over 400 spotlights, creating a mesmerizing spectacle, especially after dark. This year’s flower street is themed around snakes, with a giant cobra taking center stage.

The grand entrance on Dien Bien Phu Street features a massive golden cobra, guarding precious gemstones and symbolizing the natural treasures of Phu Yen. This cobra mascot is an impressive 10.8 meters tall and 135 meters long, and it’s hard to miss with its countless LED lights. It is accompanied by replicas of the Nghinh Phong Tower, a well-known symbol of Tuy Hoa’s tourism.

The other entrance on Hung Vuong Street celebrates Tuy Hoa’s 20th anniversary with an elegant display of two intertwined snake mascots, forming the numbers 2005 and 2025, representing the city’s journey and progress over the years.
At the heart of the flower street is a captivating snake mascot cradling an Internet globe, surrounded by AI-inspired installations. This unique centerpiece is a creative blend of traditional and modern elements, reflecting the evolving nature of Tuy Hoa.

Nguyen Cong Thanh, vice-chairman of the Tuy Hoa People’s Committee, shared that the VND3.9-billion (US$159,000) flower street project was made possible through joint efforts and contributions from the city and the community, showcasing a true collaborative spirit.
The sheer size and scale of the snake mascots, along with the vibrant flowers and eco-friendly materials used, make this year’s Tet Flower Street an extraordinary and memorable experience for all who visit. It is a testament to the creativity and dedication of the people of Tuy Hoa.
