Spanning 250 meters across a vast 4,000-square-meter area, the breathtaking Tet Flower Street in Tuy Hoa city welcomes visitors with a vibrant display of flora and fauna. Showcasing an impressive 70,000 flower baskets, representing 100 different species, the street is a colorful celebration of nature’s beauty.

The exhibit features six grand displays, along with smaller setups and two captivating entrance installations. But it’s not just the flowers that dazzle; the street is illuminated with a stunning 20,000 meters of LED lights and over 400 spotlights, creating an enchanting ambiance after dark.

One of the highlights of the flower street is the grand entrance on Dien Bien Phu Street, where a giant golden cobra mascot greets visitors. Standing tall at 10.8 meters, the cobra guards precious gemstones, symbolizing the natural treasures of Phu Yen. This stunning display is surrounded by replicas of the iconic Nghinh Phong Tower, enhancing the sense of welcome and hospitality.

The other entrance on Hung Vuong Street holds equal allure, featuring two elegant snake mascots intertwined to form the numbers 2005 and 2025, commemorating Tuy Hoa’s journey. Celebrating the city’s 20th anniversary, this entrance is a testament to the city’s growth and charm.

At the heart of the flower street is a captivating snake mascot cradling an Internet globe, surrounded by AI-inspired installations. This unique combination of nature and technology creates a modern yet enchanting atmosphere.

Adding to the allure are the various attractions, including a snake cave display with patterns inspired by traditional Vietnamese brocade and snake scales. The attention to detail and cultural infusion make this flower street truly unique.

Nguyen Cong Thanh, vice-chairman of the Tuy Hoa People’s Committee, shared that the VND3.9-billion (US$159,000) project was a collaborative effort, funded by both the city and community contributions. The result is a stunning display that has captivated locals and visitors alike.

The golden cobra mascot, with its LED lights, stands tall at 135 meters long, while the snake mascots at the Hung Vuong gate impress with their height of 12.3 meters. These majestic creations are a testament to the creativity and craftsmanship behind the flower street.

“The flower street is a feast for the eyes,” exclaimed Do Kieu Oanh, a local resident. “The golden cobra, adorned with LED lights, is absolutely mesmerizing. It’s the perfect spot to capture memorable Tet photos.”
