Spanning 250 meters across a vast 4,000-square-meter area, the breathtaking Tet Flower Street in Tuy Hoa city is a sight to behold. For the upcoming 2025 Tet celebrations, the street boasts an impressive 70,000 flower baskets, showcasing a diverse range of 100 floral species.

The vibrant exhibition is a feast for the eyes, with six grand displays, numerous smaller setups, and two captivating entrance installations that are sure to awe visitors.

What makes this flower street unique is its construction. Using 60 metric tons of steel and eco-friendly materials like bamboo and rattan, the street truly comes alive at night with 20,000 meters of LED lights and over 400 spotlights, as per the city administration.

One of the grand entrances to the flower street, located on Dien Bien Phu Street, features a giant golden cobra mascot guarding precious gemstones. This cobra represents the natural treasures of Phu Yen and is surrounded by replicas of the iconic Nghinh Phong Tower, a symbol of Tuy Hoa’s tourism appeal.

As Tuy Hoa celebrates its 20th anniversary, the other entrance on Hung Vuong Street presents an elegant display of two intertwined snake mascots, forming the numbers 2005 and 2025, symbolizing the city’s journey. The mascots’ impressive heights and lengths further enhance the impact of this celebration.

At the heart of the flower street is a captivating snake mascot cradling an Internet globe, surrounded by AI-inspired installations. This unique combination of nature and technology creates a modern and innovative atmosphere.

Adding to the allure of the street are attractions like a snake cave display, adorned with patterns inspired by traditional Vietnamese brocade and snake scales, offering a cultural and artistic twist to the floral exhibition.

Nguyen Cong Thanh, vice-chairman of the Tuy Hoa People’s Committee, shared that the VND3.9-billion (US$159,000) flower street project was made possible through joint efforts by the city and community contributions, showcasing a true collaborative spirit.

The golden cobra mascot at the Dien Bien Phu gate stands tall at 10.8 meters, with a length of 135 meters, while each of the snake mascots at the Hung Vuong gate measures 12.3 meters in height and 38 meters in length, making them truly majestic and larger-than-life installations.

“The flower street this year is exceptionally vibrant and captivating,” shared Do Kieu Oanh, a local resident of Tuy Hoa. “The golden cobra mascot at the entrance, adorned with LED lights, is truly mesmerizing and creates a magical atmosphere for our Tet celebrations. It has become the perfect backdrop for our festive photos.”
