The five-day festival is set to feature a string of cultural activities,  including the offering of flowers at Uncle Ho’s statue in Ho Chi Minh square, a parade heading to Uncle Ho’s home, in addition to an incense offering to Uncle Ho at his memorial in the Kim Lien relic site.

Moreover, other cultural and sporting events such as a volleyball tournament, a Sen village singing contest, and various art performances will also be taking place throughout the occasion.

The opening ceremony of the Sen village festival 2020 is scheduled to take place on May 17 in Ho Chi Minh square with the event set to be broadcast live on VTV and NTV.

With the festival set to close on May 19, the event will also be broadcast on NTV.
