The program is also meant to celebrate the group’s 45th anniversary (August 1, 1975-2020).
Under the program, all of the group’s members offer discounts of up to over 60% on accommodation, tours, event services, food and beverages.
Discounts at accommodations
During the program, hotels and resorts under Saigontourist Group will offer discounts of up to 60% on room rates, up to 20% on food and beverages, up to 30% on meeting rooms, and 15% on transport services.
Hotels in HCMC taking part in the program include the Rex Hotel Saigon, Majestic Saigon, Grand Saigon, Continental Saigon, Royal Hotel Saigon (Kim Do Hotel), Oscar Saigon, Saigon Hotel, First Hotel, and Dong Khanh.
The five-star Rex Hotel Saigon cuts its Premium room rate from VND3.407 million to VND2.585 million, while room rates at the four-star Royal Hotel Saigon will be reduced to VND1.9 million from VND2.9 million.
Saigontourist’s hotels and resorts in the central region and the Central Highlands joining the program include Saigon-Ban Me in Daklak Province, Saigontourane in Danang City, Saigon-Morin in Hue City, Yasaka Saigon Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa Province’s Nha Trang City, Saigon-Phu Yen in Phu Yen Province, Saigon-Mui Ne in Binh Thuan Province, Saigon-Kim Lien in Nghe An Province, Saigon-Quang Binh in Quang Binh Province, and Saigon-Dong Ha in Quang Tri Province.
Guests staying at Saigontourane Hotel will be entitled to a 30% discount on room rates. Room rates at Hotel Saigon-Morin in Hue will be reduced to VND1.6-5 million from VND1.9-7 million.
Saigon-Kim Lien Resort will offer special room rates from VND500,000 per night. Guests booking three nights or more at Deluxe, Deluxe City and River View rooms at Saigon-Dong Ha Hotel will receive a free night.
In the northern region, Saigon-Phu Tho Hotel offers a 10% discount on party menu for group bookings, a complementary room when booking 10 rooms or more, and a 10% discount voucher applied to next stays for walk-in guests.
The four-star Saigon-Ban Gioc Resort in Cao Bang Province offers a 20% discount on room rates. With the discount applied, room rates at the resort will be VND800,000-896,000. Guests booking three nights will enjoy free accommodation on the third night.
The four-star Saigon-Ba Be Resort in Bac Kan Province offers 20% off on room rates and 10% off on food. In addition, guests booking three nights will only pay for two nights and enjoy a 15% discount on food and a free boat trip around Ba Be Lake.
The five-star Majestic Mong Cai Hotel in Quang Ninh Province lowers room rates from VND1.6-4.2 million to VND800,000-2.1 million. Meanwhile, guests at the four-star Saigon-Halong Hotel will receive a free meal worth VND200,000 each when booking rooms with prices ranging from VND1.2 million to VND2.5 million.
The four-star Saigon-Phu Quoc Resort offers a discount of over 50% on room rates. A night at Panorama room will cost only VND1.5 million, instead of VND3.01 million.
Discounts on tours
As part of the stimulus program, Saigontourist Travel under Saigontourist Group has worked with member hotels and resorts to provide tours at special prices.
Particularly, the four-day Nha Trang-Tam Islet tour, departing on Thursdays, costs VND4.239 million while the three-day Phan Thiet-Mui Ne tour, departing on Fridays, is priced at VND4.179 million. The four-day Dalat tour, departing on Thursdays and Sundays, is VND4.779 million and the four-day Buon Ma Thuot-Pleiku tour, departing on Thursdays, is VND4.239 million.
Other discounted tours are the three-day Con Dao Island tour priced at VND6.7 million, the four-day Tuy Hoa-Quy Nhon tour at VND5.379 million, the four-day Hue-Danang tour, departing on Thursdays, at VND5.679 million, the five-day Danang-Quang Binh-Hue tour, departing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, at VND6.779 million, and the five-day tour of the northeastern region, departing on Mondays, at VND9.379 million.
Especially, the three-day Phu Quoc tour, departing on Fridays, costs VND4.079 million including flights operated by Vietnam Airlines and accommodation at the four-star Saigon-Phu Quoc Resort.
Discounts of up to 15% on food and beverages, entertainment services and training courses
Saigontourist Group’s members including Binh Quoi Tourist Village, Phu Tho Tourism Services Company and Saigontourist Hospitality College (STHC) will offer discounts of up to 15% on food and beverages, entertainment services and training courses.
Guests will enjoy a 15% discount on menus at Binh Quoi 1 and 2 tourist sites, and a 10% discount on menus at Tan Cang and Van Thanh tourist sites and Saigon Ship Restaurant.
Those who register for training courses at STHC will enjoy a 10% discount on tuition fee or a 15% discount for group of five.
Guests buying two tickets to Dam Sen Cultural Park, which is operated by Phu Tho Tourism Services Company, will pay for only one ticket. Vam Sat tour offers a discount of 25%, to VND465,000 per person, while Phu Tho Hotel offers a 40% discount on room rates.
