During the opening ceremony, Aleksander Surdej, the Polish Ambassador to Hanoi, highlighted the significance of art, specifically painting, in promoting cultural exchanges. The Polish Embassy has previously organized several exhibitions featuring the works of Polish artists at different venues across Vietnam, including the Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of holding the event at the Temple of Literature, a place deeply rooted in Vietnamese history and culture, as an ideal setting to showcase the diverse range of artistic expressions.

The event featured artworks from 465 artists representing 60 countries worldwide, including 50 Polish artists. Among the displays were over 200 watercolor paintings, which will be exhibited at the Temple of Literature from March 15 to March 28.

Ambassador Surdej expressed the commitment of the Polish Embassy to collaborate with local organizations in hosting future cultural exchange events, further strengthening the friendship between Poland and Vietnam.
