HOZO, the city’s largest cultural event in 2023, is back for its third edition and promises to be a spectacular music festival that will engage all the senses.


The festival will feature performances by 10 internationally renowned artists and bands, as well as 14 talented local acts. It is expected to attract a crowd of around 150,000 music enthusiasts over the course of three days.


Speaking at the event, Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the city People’s Committee, highlighted the significance of HOZO as an annual cultural tourism event that contributes to the development of the city’s cultural industries and promotes tourism. It is also part of a larger initiative to organize a series of signature festivals, cultural events, and sports activities in the city from 2020 to 2030.


The opening night on December 22 featured captivating performances by international artists like Charlie Lim from Singapore and Otyken from Siberia, as well as talented Vietnamese artists including Binz, GreyD, Chillies, Saigon Pops Orchestra, and DJ Hoaprox.


The second night will showcase the musical talents of Korean band Tempest, Vietnamese rock band Kurrock based in Tokyo, Indonesian group Good Morning Everyone, and popular Vietnamese singers Van Mai Huong, My Anh, Vu Thao My, and Erik.


The grand finale of the festival will be headlined by renowned DJ Don Diablo, El Pony Pisador from Barcelona, Vietnamese rock band Vortexx, famed singer Thu Minh, and music group Dalab.


Aside from the main stage, HOZO also includes a side stage featuring various multi-artistic performances. Saigon Choir, for instance, will serenade the audience with a repertoire of 13 foreign and Vietnamese songs. SpaceX Dance Group will showcase their impressive dance routines, and a thrilling All Style Aerobic contest will also take place.
