The Friendship Associations of Vietnam-ASEAN, Vietnam-India, Vietnam-Indonesia, and Vietnam-Cambodia will showcase art performances during the event to strengthen the friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and other countries in the region.

The festival introduces hundreds of varieties of delicious fruits from across the southern region, including green-skinned grapefruits and jackfruits of Tien Giang province, melons, Dakado avocados, as well as durians and passion fruits of Dak Lak province.

The event also has plenty of exciting activities to enjoy, such as an exhibition of giant and exotic fruits from different countries planted in Suoi Tien Farm, as well as a fruit market and a food fair.

An art carving competition of fruit and vegetables is set to take place, drawing in many artisans from Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, and Binh Duong provinces, as well as some neighboring areas. The competition promises to showcase a vibrant array of works to introduce traditional culture to the international community and express national pride.

The Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival is set to take place from August 28 to August 31. This festival will highlight the tourism potential of the city and will provide a platform to demonstrate to both domestic and international visitors the advantages of visiting Ho Chi Minh City.
