Australian Prime Minister Tastes Bia Hoi on First Day in Hanoi
After arriving at Noi Bai International Airport on June 3, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese decided to go out for lunch and sample one of Hanoi's most popular dishes.
Bia hoi is a drink available at most Hanoi eateries and is an indispensable part of gatherings involving friends who get together to enjoy delicious dishes.

He drinks a total of three glasses of bia hoi and shares his thoughts that Vietnamese food is very delicious.
This marks the first official visit to Vietnam by PM Albanese since he took office and comes only two months after a State-level visit made by Australian Governor-General David Hurley, thereby showing Australia’s recognition of the importance of relations with Vietnam.
The official welcome ceremony for the Australian PM will take place at the Presidential Palace on June 4.
