The ASEAN military music exchange is set to kick off with an opening ceremony at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel on December 13. This cultural event will showcase the musical talents of military bands from across the ASEAN community.

On the day, bands from various ASEAN countries will march and perform along a route covering some of Hanoi’s most prominent streets. Starting from Nguyen Tri Phuong, they will make their way through Dien Bien Phu, Doc Lap, Hoang Van Thu, and Hoang Dieu, before concluding their journey back at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel.

From December 19 to 21, the military bands will also showcase their musical prowess at the Vietnam International Defence Expo, held at Gia Lam Airport on the city’s outskirts. This expo will provide a unique opportunity to experience the blend of military precision and artistic expression that defines military music.

The exchange will come to a close on December 22 with a ceremony at the Vietnam Military History Museum, where the bands will unite to celebrate the power of music and cultural exchange.
