The Central Highlands cements its position as a leading cultural and eco-friendly destination in Asia, with the city of Da Lat taking center stage at the Asia Festival City Awards 2025.
Nguyen Van Son, deputy chairman of the Da Lat administration, announced on Thursday evening that the city had secured three prestigious awards at the Global Festival Summit 2025 in South Korea.
The first, ‘Asia Flower and Garden Festival of 2025,’ celebrated the vibrant floral displays and horticultural excellence that Da Lat presented. The second, the ‘Asia Pinnacle,’ recognized the city’s exceptional event organization, cultural significance, and commitment to promoting local traditions.
Additionally, the International Festivals & Events Association – Asia (IFEA Asia) honored Da Lat with the ‘Best Flower and Garden Festival’ award, further emphasizing the city’s stunning floral arrangements and horticultural prowess.
This marks the second consecutive year that Da Lat has been recognized at the Asia Festival City Awards. In 2024, the city’s flower festival was named the ‘Best Flower and Garden Festival,’ and Da Lat was also listed among the top five most impressive festival cities in Asia.
The Asia Festival City Awards commended Da Lat for its consistent efforts in fostering a green, friendly, and sustainable environment, utilizing the Flower Festival as a pivotal element in its cultural and tourism promotion strategy.
According to the Vietnam News Agency, Da Lat, the capital of Lam Dong Province, has proudly hosted the Flower Festival ten times since 2005, each time delivering a unique message and contributing to the city’s reputation as Vietnam’s flower festival hub.
