As of October 21, the Saigon Times Real Estate Club had collected VND180 million from its members, readers and benefactors, while the 2030 Business Club under the Saigon Times Club collected some VND500 million for the “Heading toward Central Vietnam” charity program. Besides, many generous donors have also donated necessities to the program.

The two clubs under the Saigon Times Club are on their way to gift the donations to the flood-hit residents of the central region. Moreover, the Saigon Times Real Estate Club organized a program called “For Central Vietnam” in the Thua Thien-Hue and Quang Tri provinces on October 24 and 25 to present 300 gift sets worth VND600,000 each to the locals.

The 2030 Business Club is set to present gifts and cash to the residents of the Quang Tri, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh provinces from October 28 to 30 to help them deal with the consequences of heavy flooding.

In addition, two other clubs under the Saigon Times Club, including the Market Club and the Startup and Innovation Club, are mapping out a plan to hold a fair for their members and friends in late October to help central Vietnam. The clubs will start their support trip to the flood-hit areas in November.

For the purpose of supporting central Vietnam and sharing the difficulties of flood-hit residents, the Saigon Times Club is calling on readers—businesses and individuals alike—to participate in the “Heading toward Central Vietnam” program.
